Traditional acupuncture and holistic massage have been used for over two thousand years to support and improve health and well-being and to address specific health problems. Both these treatments approach the person as a whole and work with the body’s natural healing mechanism to restore balance on all levels.
I have been practising acupuncture and massage for over 15 years. In both of these modalities the treatment is tailored to the individual. I treat a wide range of conditions and have particular experience in women’s health, pregnancy and preparation for birth. I am a fully insured member of the Association for Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM) and of the MTI (Massage Training Institute) and abide by their codes of professional conduct.
I aim to offer treatment that is relaxing and restorative as well as effective, and am a believer in providing my clients with the tools to support their own health where this is appropriate, using for example, postural awareness and the common-sense lifestyle and nutritional advice of Chinese medicine. I offer acupuncture and massage as separate treatments, although some massage may sometimes be included in an acupuncture treatment. If you are not sure which treatment you would prefer or would be best for you, I can work with you to find what will be most appropriate for your needs.
I practice from Central Bristol and Clifton, with both daytime and evening appointments available.
