Acupuncture and massage have both been used for over two thousand years to support and improve health and well-being and to address specific health problems. What these two modalities have in common is that they approach the person as a whole, tailoring treatment to the individual, and that they work with the body’s own self- healing mechanism to restore balance on all levels.
I have been practising acupuncture and massage for over 17 years. I treat a wide range of conditions and have particular experience in women’s health, pregnancy and preparation for birth. I aim to offer treatment that as well as being effective, is relaxing and restorative. Where appropriate, I provide my clients with the tools to support their own health, using for example, postural awareness and the common-sense lifestyle and nutritional advice of Chinese medicine.
I offer acupuncture and massage as separate treatments, although some massage may sometimes be included in an acupuncture treatment. If you are not sure which treatment you would prefer or would be best for you, I can work with you to find what will be most appropriate for your needs. I practice from Central Bristol, Clifton and Greenbank with both daytime and evening appointments available.
I am a fully insured member of the Association for Traditional Chinese Medicine (ATCM) and of the MTI (Massage Training Institute) and abide by their codes of professional conduct and safe practice.
