Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a part of traditional Chinese medicine, one of the longest established forms of healthcare in the world, and is used to relieve pain and improve overall health and well-being, restoring balance to body and mind. A traditional acupuncturist takes all aspects of a person’s health into account to make an individual diagnosis. Very fine needles are then used to affect the flow of the body’s vital energy enabling the body to make better use of its resources, activating its innate self-healing ability.

Acupuncture is a safe, effective and usually painless treatment which can be used for a wide range of problems.
Recognised by the World Health Organisation as effective for a variety of conditions, it is used extensively in hospitals in China and Japan and is increasingly employed for a variety of conditions in both private and NHS settings in the UK.
